Qualifications:
- Successful candidates will have the following core skills: Java, J2EE technologies including Java 1.4+, JSP, custom JSP tags, servlets, XML, XSLT, HTML, and Javascript. Additionally Oracle 10g (10.2)
- 2 years Java development experience on full life cycle projects
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, UML and the uses of various UML diagram types, especially class diagrams and sequence diagrams
- Understanding of Web Services architecture and design and service oriented architecture (SOA)-based enterprise applications.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- 1+ year in a leadership role (module or team lead)
- Experience taking business requirements and communicating technical requirements to team
- Ability to translate business requirements and communicate technical requirements to team
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior developers
- Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues
- BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, or a related field required; MA or MS degree preferred
