Engagement Manager

Sila Solutions Group (Sila SG) is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to direct and deliver multifaceted engagements and leverage their depth of technical and managerial experience to lead complex enterprise projects and initiatives out of our Seattle office. The ideal candidate comes to Sila SG with senior management experience at large or boutique consulting firms managing enterprise software lifecycle development projects at Global 1000 clients.

The successful candidate is also expected to contribute to the growth of Sila SG through the following roles:

  • Engagement Management: manage engagement risk; plan, scope and deliver project content and ensure buy-in of projects and solutions as part of client engagements.
  • Business Development: build and maintain relationships with top decision makers and key stakeholders at the client's organization; participate in proposal development and strategy; develop and manage industry specific software and hardware partner relationships.
  • Technical Leadership: conceptualize, design and assist in the implementation of new and existing systems and solutions; identify and promote best practices; provide oversight for activities related to work using client and internal methodologies and processes and provide technical recommendations for clients.
  • People Development: act as counselor and mentor to staff; provide input and guidance to Sila's staffing process and participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.

Qualifications:

  • Broad systems level expertise across multiple computing platforms and technologies with the ability to influence at the Enterprise level
  • Experience leading multiple project teams and mentoring team members
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle and methodologies, including agile, scrum and P+, and have the abilities to explain various components to stakeholders .
  • Business development experience and high comfort level meeting with and presenting to Director and VP level clients and partners
  • Ability to scope and cost enterprise solutions
  • Ability to define an enterprise systems that will align with the client's business and strategic goals
  • Experience developing Statements of Work and client proposals
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree required; preferably in CS, MIS, Engineering or related field; MA or MS degree also preferred
  • 10-15 years of relevant work experience
